About The Paper Meridian

The Paper Meridian is a small press for long attention spans. We publish and print things designed to be read twice: risograph editions in runs we number by hand, pamphlet essays short enough for a train ride and good enough to reread on the way back, letterpress cards heavy enough to keep. Screens are fine. This is the other thing. Ink sits on riso paper where you can feel the grain under it, and every edition is printed, folded and packed on the same bench in our studio. When a run sells out, it's gone — we'd rather print the next thing than reprint the last one.
